WHY ARE THERE GAPS IN THE BOTTOM OF MY FIRE PIT?

Small gaps may be seen around the edges of the fire grate and the body after use. This is normal. The bottom grate may experience some warping due to the heat generated in the burn chamber and with weathering. It is spot welded in place to give it the flexibility to expand and contract.

CAN I BURN FIREWOOD IN THIS FIRE PIT?

The portable fire pit is designed for use with wood pellets or smaller pieces of wood. The patio fire pits can burn firewood.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE WOOD PELLETS?

Wood pellets are offered at a variety of retailers: Tractor Supply, Menards, Walmart, Lowe’s, etc. Check with your local retailer to find out if they sell wood pellets. A 40 lb bag lasts roughly 6–8 hours.

HOW LONG WILL THE PELLETS BURN?

It will take about 10–15 minutes for the fire pit to get hot enough for flames to get a strong blaze. The initial load will burn about 25–35 minutes before you need to add pellets.

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN AND MAINTAIN MY FIRE PIT?

All high-efficiency fire pits should be inspected and cleaned regularly after each use. To clean stainless steel units, wipe in the direction of the grain using a microfiber cloth. Use dishsoap or a cleaner specifically formulated for use on stainless steel.

WARNING: Outdoor use only. Do not use this unit on or near combustible surfaces or structures such as wood decks, dry leaves, or vinyl or wood siding. Use only on hard, level surfaces. Do not use on asphalt, or directly on a wooden or composite wood deck. May cause discoloration to a concrete surface. See the owner’s manual for important safety information.

CAUTION: This fire pit should not be left outside uncovered when not in use. Store your fire pit in a dry location out of the weather to ensure continued use. Exposure to weather, heavy use and UV rays may cause this product to developed a rusted patina.

WARNING: This fire pit is constructed of steel which is susceptible to rust when exposed to outdoor conditions and fire. The unique design of this fire pit can generate heat in the burn chamber that can exceed 1,200 °F (650 °C). While we paint our fire pits with high temperature heat resistant paint, there are no commercially available paints suitable to meet these extremes. With use and time, these fire pits will show signs of rust. This will not impact the performance of the fire pit. The paint can be touched up with high-temperature paint, which is used on BBQ grills and other high heat appliances and can be found at most hardware stores.

WARNING: The bottom for the fire grate in this fire pit is stitch welded into place to allow the fire grate to flex, which is required due to the high temperatures generated in the burn chamber. The flex can cause the fire grate to look wavy. This is normal and will not effect the performance of the fire pit.

Disappointed

I am disappointed that the wood pellets do not keep a good flame going in the pit. After 30-45 min you have to rely on wood for the flame as the pellets only smolder

Hello. Yes, 2" of pellets will only last about 30 minutes. You will need to add in more pellets to keep the burn going. We recommend adding in handfuls of pellets at a time. Accelerant, like lighter fluid, is helpful to ignite the new pellets once added.

Bought for gift

Bought for my dad for camping he wanted something smaller to be easier to travel with Rather than the bigger dryer drum. He LOVES it. Compact. And wood pellets are cheaper than bundles of wood and last longer! So happy with the purchase.

Greatest purchase that I have made in 6 months

I love this fire pit! It is awesome and works amazingly. I recommend using more of a wood chunks than pellets. Either way, it works great!

Great firepit, but...

I love this firepit, but I have yet to figure out how to add pellets without either getting too much smoke or constantly feeding it very small doses of pellets continuously. Great fire from initial loading, no smoke, nice flames. Works well with small wood chunks, which is what I have been adding after the initial load starts to burn down. Chunks give me more ash but that's ok. Need to keep experimenting to find best way to stoke the fire.

Hello! To eliminate the smoke when adding pellets, we suggest adding an igniter, such as lighter fluid, to help ignite the pellets once added to the fire. Be sure not to add too many pellets at one time as this will smother the fire. We have found that sprinkling handfuls of pellets in and adding lighter fluid has worked best to keep the fire going.

Absolutely Fabulous!

I love this little fire pit. We used pellets and about 2 inches of pellets mad a grand fire that lasted about 90 minutes with very little clean up. When the fire is going the words underneath the fire light up. Roasted a great hot dog and S'mores as well. I would post a photo if I could. Very happy with this pit!

Virtually smoke free experience

The infused air flow design on our portable fire pits generates significant heat for camping, tailgating or a backyard fire

Easy to assemble and use

Nests together for easy storage

Fits into carrying bag for easy transportation

How it works

  1. Outside air is pulled into the bottom ring of holes on the burn chamber and moves through the hollow wall up to the inside ring of holes.

  2. The heated air is released through the inner ring of holes into the top of the burn chamber, infusing the fire with an extra boost of oxygen which improves the burn.

  3. The improved burn vaporizes wood particles, creating little to no smoke or embers.
